Craig joins the team at Bremont watches at the Henley Royal Regatta wearing clothing by Hackett London
The Henley Royal Regatta is an annual British event first held in 1839, and is attended by the Royal family, boating enthusiasts and anyone who appreciated a great British day out.
I was invited as a guest of Bremont watches who are the official timers of the races and a sponsor of the event. If you love your timepieces and respect a great British brand that creates stunningly engineered, award winning chronometers, take a look at their range.
For the event I was lucky enough to wear the ALT1-ZT Zulu Pilot watch With a modified calibre 13 ¼''' BE-54AE automatic chronometer with 42 hour power reserve. Hardened stainless steel Bremont Trip-Tick® case construction. This timepiece is water resistant up to 10 ATM, 100 metres and has a calf-skin leather strap with solid deployment buckle and engraved security clasp.
My outfit for the day was by Hackett London, another sponsor of the event, so many thanks to them for kitting me out for the day. The trousers are the limited edition Henley Royal Regatta striped trousers in 100% wool.
Over my plain white shirt I wore the double breasted summer tweed double breasted jacket, which I absolutely love. Now almost half price the jacket is 71% wool, 16% silk and 13% linen.
Footwear for the day were the one piece leather tassel loafers. I chose them in tan, but they are also available in brown and black if you wanted another colour option.
Meeting up with the guys from Bremont we were treated to a talk by one of the founders and got to see the latest range of watches before being whisked off to dinner in one of the hospitality tents.
As champagne poured, and food was served I got to catch up with other bloggers, such at David from the grey fox blog, Phillipa from 5ftinf and Emily from Fashion Foie Gras, all of whom made the event very special.
Following dinner we got to see some of the races from the water, courtesy of luxury yacht company Iguana and as we sailed along the Thames and socked up the sun we really got to experience the day from another perspective.
Keeping an eye on my Bremont, the day went so quickly and it was soon time to leave. The Henley Royal Regatta is a great British day out and one not to be missed. Huge thanks to Bremont Watches for the opportunity and to the PR guys and the other attendees for making it such a memorable day.
