Craig of That Dapper Chap and other top UK bloggers attend this years Royal Ascot as guests of Primark Man
In this sponsored post I'd like to share my experience of Royal Ascot and what myself and other bloggers in our group wore to the event.
If you've never been to Royal Ascot, I'd certainly recommend it! It's a great day of Horse racing, great food and of course champagne.
Every one knows that attendees of Royal Ascot are all dressed up to the nines and we were no different, but myself and six other UK bloggers got suited and booted without paying a fortune, and all arrived looking the part in suiting by Primark Man.
Not only did we look the part but we arrived in style too in our own helicopter! Well, it would have been rude not to!
Landing in Ascot, we made our way to the Queen Anne enclosure where we were treated to some four course fine dining of Coronation chicken and Serrano ham terrine, Aged fillet of beef, salted caramel cannelloni and cheeses.
Bets were placed, horses were raced, champagne was consumed and cheers from winners filled the enclosure. While other guests did all this in their expensive suits, we did it on the same scale but wearing suiting with a much lower price point, and looked just as good while we do so, even if I do say so myself.
My pale grey suit is lightweight, so perfect for this season and has a nice amount of stretch which made it very comfortable to wear. I was also impressed by how well it fitted, not only to me but also to the environment. All of the suits are slim fit, and you can also see how my suit looks on a younger and slimmer guy as Jared also chose to wear this suit.
While Gurj and Nathan both opted for a light blue, single breasted, two button suit, Ben and Jake chose a light stone version. John decided to go for a classic navy suit, all five cutting at dash at this years races.
A great time was had by all and while we didn't all leave with wads of cash in the pockets of our slim fit trousers, we did have some success, sadly though none of it wanted to make its way in my direction. That's fine though as I'd already saved a large amount of cash on this suit!
Primark suits cost in the region of £45 and are available in all larger stores.
