Look Of The Week With Peter Werth

Craig of That Dapper Chap teams up with Peter Werth for their 'Look Of The Week' campaign and shows us what he's wearing from their latest range.

The last time I wrote about Peter Werth was to tell you about their SS16 collection and prior to that it was all about their 40th birthday bash, held at their fresh new Eastcastle Street store in London. A few months on and they're still going great guns and getting their AW16 collection ready.

In the meantime I've chosen a look from their SS16 collection for you as part of their #LookOfTheWeek campaign. Read on for the full details.

Peter Werth X Nutters of Savile Row

Your chance to own rare and one-off pieces from the collection

If you're a gentleman or a Lady of great taste (and I know that you are because you're reading this) you're going to want to know about the forthcoming Peter Werth event during which they will passing on some rare and one off pieces from their collaboration with Nutters of Savile Row.

Founded by the legendary Tommy Nutter in 1969, Nutters brought fashion to London's iconic Savile Row. With his rebellious approach to tailoring, he introduced rakish silhouettes and jaunty cocktail-lounge styles to London's elite, dressing everyone from The Beatles to The Rolling Stones, and from Sir Hardy Amies to Sir Elton John and Michael Jackson.

The fashion he initiated, was so new and contemporary that it was soon taken to the dancefloors of super cool nightspots in Mayfair, as the Northern soul movement rampaged through the club scene in the 1970's

The collection was originally shown in 2013 and was a show unlike any other scene at London Collections: Men before. Those same pieces can now be yours.

The Peter Werth 40th Anniversary Store Opening

Craig of That Dapper Chap attends the opening of the latest Peter Werth store and celebrates their 40th anniversary

Yours truly wearing my new Peter Werth tartan coat

Remember Peter Werth?

As some of us may already know, Menswear brand Peter Werth has been around for a while, since 1975 to be precise when they opened in London Islington
I can still remember our local high street store in the 1980's. A restructure saw the closure of many stores around the UK, but I'm pleased to see that this British heritage brand are back in a big way, and challenging some of the more well-know brands on our streets when it comes to style and quality. So I was pleased to get an invitation to the opening of their newest store which celebrates 40 years in the business.
