Craig of That Dapper Chap shows us what he wore today, incorporating this vintage paisley bow tie
As many folk do on a Tuesday I wanted to support the #BowTieTuesday revolution and don a dapper bow tie. This one is a thrift find and cost just 50p from a local hospice charity shop. It was still in its original packing sleeve and clearly never worn. Someone must have donated their entire collection as I ended up buying five that day, all for under £5!
To bring in some colour I wore a small check green shirt and carried the red of the bow tie through to the socks and wristwear. The blue wool waistcoat adds to the formal look and the navy chinos help keep the look modern and fresh.
Accessories include my Daniel Wellington watch with a green and blue strap to tie in with the blue waistcoat and chinos, and the green shirt. The bracelets are red, blue and green, maintaining the colour story.
I also wore a beaded trouser chain to add some personality and additional interest and my blue suede brogues which completed the look.
