Styling the Palissy Briefcase From Oppermann London

Craig of That Dapper Chap introduces luxury leather brand Oppermann London and styles the Palissy briefcase.

Inspired directly by Swedish minimalism and city style, which combines simplicity with functionality and great design, Oppermann London are a young brand with a beautiful range of luxury bags, travel goods and accessories, and I was lucky enough to meet up with them at London Fashion week Mens, just a few short weeks ago.

The guys at Oppermann London wanted top quality materials for their range, and their search took them deep into the Swedish forests where they happened upon Tärnsjö Garveri, a tannery with a long history of manufacture dating back to 1873. They chose their favourite leather and now create and offer a stunning collection of 5 bags, 4 wallets and 4 phone cases in a variety of different colours.

For this sponsored post, I chose was the Palissy briefcase. The design appealed to me as soon as I set my eyes on it at London Fashion Week. The simplicity of the design is very attractive. No fuss, no frills, no bulk and no unnecessary embellishments. Just pure function and immaculate style.

Here's my first look at the case as seen on my YouTube Chanel.

Styling my Palissy briefcase

As promised on the YouTube unboxing video I've styled the briefcase for you to show you exactly how it can look in the 'real world' The orange accent inspired me to opt for complimentary accessories, so that's where I started and chose an orange knitted tie and patterned pocket square.

Making the orange the focal point of this look I kept things 'monochrome' with a skinny fit light grey wool suit and slim fit white shirt. With black leather Chelsea boots to tie in with the black leather of the briefcase I added an orange Nato band to my Timex watch and I was ready.

The look is unfussy and sophisticated just like the Oppermann Palissy briefcase. I found the briefcase roomy and I was able to carry everything that I needed for my day. The shoulder strap is very handy, particularly when jumping from tube to tube and the double zip make access very easy.

I can see this case becoming one that I take with me on a regular basis. The paired back design makes it easy to style and the weight of it make it less cumbersome to carry compared to other leather briefcases that I own.

So, if you're in the market for a new briefcase or your looking for a gift for a man in your life who could benefit from a great new briefcase take a look at Oppermann London.

I hope you approve of the look I've put together for you?. Feel free to leave a comment at the foot of this post to let me know what you think.
