Styling a look from the Racing Green SS17 collection

Craig of That Dapper Chap styles a look from the latest SS17 collection from Racing Green, available at Debenhams.

If you've followed my blog for a little while, firstly thank you, but secondly you'll know that I've worn and written about Racing Green menswear previously, once for my trip to Prague and before that on a weekend away, so we already know that I'm a fan of their clothing.

What you may not know is that You'll now find Racing Green in Debenhams as they have recently taken on the brand, hence the desire to share some of the range with you.

The look that I've put together starts with the jeans. These are the blue mid wash straight leg jeans, available in sizes 28 to 38, they are a heavier denim than others I own. They're a great staple item and are even available in tall sizes.

If you wanted something a little less casual you could always wear chinos instead of jeans. Racing Green also offer some really nice well fitted chinos in a nice range of colours. Below we have Khaki, blue, brown, light grey, and red, each are £30.00, available in sizes 30 to 38, and like the jeans also in big and tall sizes up to a 46.

To create a more casual look I added the 100% cotton blue ribbed crew neck jumper, which is just as easily worn over a T Shirt or on it's own, but I opted to wear it over the blue textured striped tailored shirt which is another great staple, yet versatile item. I've already worn this under a suit with a tie, so it's an item that can be dressed up or down. With a button down collar in 100% cotton it also feels great to wear.

With the inclement weather that we're currently having in my part of the country, a good waterproof coat is a must. This navy hooded four pocket jacket is just the ticket. Made from polyester and cotton, it's lightweight and can even be thrown in the tumble dryer if you do get drenched!

So on a wet Sunday morning stroll to the local quay this outfit was a perfect choice. warm enough for the spring chill that sat in the air, and smart enough to still look presentable and stylish. No Sunday morning stroll would be complete without a pit stop for a good cup of coffee, and with a couple of really good bars and cafe's we did just that.

I hope you approve of the look I've put together for you. Feel free to leave a comment below to let me know your thoughts or your experience with Racing Green. Thanks for stopping by.
