What I Wore Today #51

Craig of That Dapper Chap shares what he wore today in this outfit of the day post featuring a statement jacket and boots

This look is pretty much all about the jacket. In a vibrant red and blue check it really does make a statement. While this was available as a full suit (now sold out) I wanted to show you how a suit can be broken up and worn in a less formal way. Just because it comes in three pieces it doesn't mean that it's the only way to wear it!

Debenhams launches Ben Fogle as the face of Racing Green Menswear

Craig of That Dapper Chap joins press and bloggers at the luxurious Cliveden House to celebrate the launch of Ben Fogle as the new face of Racing Green menswear at Debenhams, with a day of fine dining and classic cars

My favourite of the classic cars; a stunning Austin Healey in two tone blue and cream

Cliveden House in all its majestic glory
After meeting the Debenhams crew and the rest of the guests at Paddington station on a warm spring morning, we boarded our train and headed to Cliveden House in the stunning Taplow countryside. With guests from the Telegraph, The Guardian, Drapers Magazine, Fashionbeans along with myself, Ben from 21st Century Gent and Charlie from Man About Town, I was in good company.

The Olivier Awards X Chester Barrie

Craig of That Dapper Chap attends the Olivier Awards as a guest of Savile Rows Chester Barrie wearing one of their evening suits.

Yours truly suited and booted at the Olivier Awards wearing Chester Barrie

If you saw my previous post where I was fitted for a tuxedo by Chester Barrie of Savile Row, you'll know that they invited me as their guest to this years Olivier Awards, held at the historical Royal Albert Hall.

Looking the part in my three piece tux, this was my first red carpet experience. As I made my way up the steps to the main entrance I wasn't as nervous as I thought I'd be while rubbing shoulders with stars of stage and film, all excited to see if they'd won one of the most prestigious awards in theatre.

What I Wore Today #50

Craig of That Dapper Chap shares today's look including clothing from Hammond & Co, Burton & Next with watch by Ice Watch

Today I decided to wear what I like to refer to as a 'relaxed dapper' look. The blazer, waistcoat and bow tie make the look super dapper but the jeans give the look a less formal and more relaxed look than it would have had if I'd worn the matching suit trousers.
