Fathers Day gifts #FoundIt at Debenhams

Craig of That Dapper Chap shares his Fathers Day gifts from the Debenhams #FoundIt campaign

With Fathers Day just a few short days away it's a great opportunity for me to share some items that I've received as gifts for this sponsored post with Debenhams for their #FoundIt campaign.

With a huge number of gifts available for dapper Dads, sports lovers, the kitchen king or that big kid in your life there's sure to be something to suit Dad this year. My fave gift this year just has to be the Charbroil patio bistro barbecue, what Dad doesn't like to BBQ right!

So, with sausages, burgers and chicken kebabs prepared, all we needed were the guests and maybe a chilled glass of wine or two. I donned my Hammond & Co Herringbone bow tie, grabbed my Jamie Oliver apron and spatula and I was ready!

My Son had been in London for the last couple of weeks and is going back in a couple of days, so won't be around for Fathers Day this year, so it was an ideal opportunity for an early Fathers Day barbecue.

This barbecue is really easy to use. It came boxed in parts, and after 15 minutes with a screwdriver it was ready to light. No messing around with charcoal, trying to light it and trying to maintain the right temperature. It's important to oil and season the grill before you cook any food on the grill though. Just oil it and leave it on high with the lid shut for 15 minutes and you're ready to cook!

I'm really impressed by how well this barbecue cooked my burgers and it put a great char-grill on them, which helped make me look like a professional cook. They were juicy and perfectly cooked. The kids went mad for the sausages and I almost didn't get one, but I sneakily hid one for myself. The barbecue currently has 10% the sale price too.

Another item I'd recommend is the Jamie Oliver drinks cooler, currently with 20% off, it not only looks good, but once filled with ice it was perfect for keeping the Sauvingion Blanc and homemade Elderflower Gin super cold.

A good time was had by all, even thought it did rain, in typical British summer fashion. That didn't matter after a glass of wine. It was all about getting together with the family and sharing those jokes and anecdotes that all families have. With Ed Sheeran on the iPod and food consumed, all that was left to do was a good old singalong, oh and don't forget that Elderflower Gin!
