The Launch Collection From Lane Forty Five

Craig of That Dapper Chap attends the launch collection event from new brand LaneFortyFive.

A few weeks ago I stumbled upon a beautiful suit while scrolling through Instagram. It was a navy tweed waistcoat and trousers made by a new brand called LaneFortyFive. After liking and commenting on the picture I received a lovely email from founder Tan.  A few emails later and here I am at the event for the launch of their first collection.

Five summer must haves from Regal Gentleman

Craig of That Dapper Chap gives us his top five products from the range at Regal Gentleman for summer 2016

The guys at Regal Gentleman have been giving us some great products for a while now. But do we need to change what we use during warmer months? well, yes and no. If you love a product and want to continue using it all year, that's okay, but I would recommend that when the temperature rises that you dial down on your fragrance and dial up on the UV protection!

So, with that in mind, here are my top five products for summer 2016.

Moisturiser with sun protection

The Jack Black Double Duty face moisturiser contains both UVA and UVB protection from the suns rays which will help against premature ageing from over exposure to the sun. Not something to be sniffed at. At £29.00 for 97ml it's cheaper than a face lift.

CRAIG OF THAT DAPPER CHAP TAKES US AROUND HIS FINAL DAY OF LONDON COLLECTIONS: MEN AND DETAILS THE SHOWS AND PRESENTATIONS THAT HE ATTENDED.

Every good thing comes to an end right? Although London Collections: Men, spans four days, I was only able to attend three due to other commitments, so on Sunday morning I packed my case, and said goodbye to my Uncle, who had kindly given me a bed for the weekend, and I set off for the shows.

Christopher Ræburn

My first show on Sunday was Christopher Ræburn. Christopher Ræburn is one of the most exciting designer fashion businesses emerging from the current British fashion scene. Christopher’s pioneering work has brought sustainable design to a mainstream fashion audience embodying luxury with integrity.

Styling the Swift & Co brown suede boots

Craig of That Dapper Chap reviews and styles the Lancaster suede boots from Swift & Co

Traditional British manufacture

I want to open this piece by telling you that I am genuinely inspired by this company. For years traditional British manufacturing has been in sad decline. With cheap manufacturing methods overseas, our heritage and industry has been irrevocably and irreversibly affected. This saddens me deeply, so I was delighted to hear from Swift & Co, and I am honoured to be asked to style a pair of their boots, and watch their very well-deserved rise as an award winning British manufacturer.
