Great denim from White Stuff Part 1 - The 'Whiskey' Jeans

Craig of That Dapper Chap styles the 'Whiskey' jeans from White Stuff with items from their current range and tells us about a competition to win a weekend away, plus £300 to spend at White Stuff

The White Stuff 'Whiskey' jeans

Fed up of super skinny jeans? Want a more relaxed style? Look no further than the White Stuff 'Whiskey' jeans. Available in grey wash, mid wash or rinse wash they are 100% cotton traditional denim jeans, and come with a contrast paisley lining inside the back waist and red stitch detail on the back pockets. They're finished with a button fly and a branded leather patch.

Styling the jeans

So often you see guys wearing jeans with a simple T shirt, maybe they're afraid of making them a little smarter. Maybe they're just not sure how to! If that's the case, let me show you how I styled the 'Whiskey' jeans to create a look that can cover most occasions, be it casual day at the office, a pub lunch or a date.

So, starting with the jeans I added the pink and green striped 'Schooner' shirt. also available in blue/red, ecru and green, its a very versatile Oxford shirt in a nice weight cotton. With branded buttons and chambray trims I'd wear this shirt with a suit and tie just as happily.

The waistcoat is the 'Engineers' waistcoat. I love the look and feel of all of the White Stuff cotton waistcoats. They offer something a little different to the standard suit waistcoat, and allow you to create a more relaxed look. It's also available in navy!

Time for ice cream! just don't spill it on my waistcoat!

It's traditional to have a '99' while at the seaside

A Mister Whippy ice cream. It just HAS to be done!

Footwear came in the form of the 'Sid' spotted socks, maybe there were a tad warm for the British seaside of a warm July day as they are a thicker sock and very wooly! Hence my need to wool off my feet in the North sea!

The boots are the 'Mens Casual Boots'. As with all White Stuff footwear, they are super comfortable and easy to wear. Made from genuine soft suede and are finished with leather panelling and stitch detailing. With a non slip sole and canvas piping they're going to be great this Autumn. Maybe not so great in the summer sun but I love them all the same!

The sights and colours of the British seaside

Colourful beach huts line the promenade

After my ice cream and the obligatory stroll along the prom we made the standard pit stop at the arcade, and spent a couple of quid at the 2p slider machine. There's something iconically British about the seaside and all of the things we do when we're there; paddling, ice cream and candy floss, maybe a portion of chips, eaten straight out of the paper and drenched in vinegar!

I had a great day by the sea in my 'Whiskey' jeans. They're comfortable and very easy to wear. If you're looking for a new pair of jeans, do take a look at White Stuff. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
