Great denim from White Stuff, Part 2 - Gin

Craig of That Dapper Chap shows us how he styled the 'Gin' jeans from White Stuff, and tells us how we can win a weekend away courtesy of the White Stuff #SLICEOFSUMMER competition

In part 1 of the White Stuff denim series I wore the Whisky jeans. Staying with the boozy theme White Stuff also offer us the 'Gin' jeans. Just like the Whiskey jeans they come in mid wash, rinse wash, but also in antique wash. The jeans I'm wearing today are the rinse wash.

As it was such a beautiful day that we decided to shoot this post at our beach hut on the British coast.

A slimmer fitting jean than the 'Whiskey' jeans, the 'Gin' jeans have a contrast paisley lining inside the back waist and purple stitch detail on the back pockets and hems. They're finished with a button fly and a branded leather patch, and are 100% cotton.

To go with the jeans and the watery theme I chose the 'Freestyle' shirt which depicts divers in various poses making their way into the water. In 100% cotton shirt it has a contrast back neck trim, branded buttons and embroidery detail. It’s a smart and crisp shirt, with a bit more personality than your average stripy shirt.

The cotton and linen blend 'Axel' blazer, complete with anchor lapel pin

The 'Axel' blazer continues the nautical theme and comes complete with an anchor lapel pin. This cotton-linen mix blazer is from the White Stuff Gentlemen’s Relish range, and matches the Axle waistcoat. With printed chambray lining and three internal pockets, it has branded buttons and an embossed metal tab.

On my feet I wore the 'Jimmy' suede shoes. I love these shoes. They're incredibly comfortable and can be dressed up or down. They're very versatile and will suit a lot of different looks. The socks are from White Stuff too, but they are now unfortunately out of sock, sorry stock!

After an hour or so relaxing at the beach hut, reading the White Stuff magalogue and enjoying a much needed cup of tea, we felt a tad hungry. It must be the sea air! Now, we could have simply popped to the shop for a sandwich, or even brought our own with us, but when you have great local fish and chips and a beautiful pub on your doorstep it'd be rude to ignore it!

The Ferry Boat Inn. A great British pub offering up great atmosphere and great grub

Wearing my Gin jeans and Freestyle shirt for dinner

The Ferryboat Inn is so popular and is always filled with people soaking up the traditional, quintessential British seaside pub atmosphere. I'm sure that the excellent food keeps them coming back time and time again. It certainly draws us back, and it's much better than a packed lunch!

So excited to dig into my dinner at the Ferryboat Inn

Freshly cooked fish and chips . And this is just a half portion!

Fine Gin to drink and fine 'Gin' jeans to wear!

We had a really relaxing day in this old fishing town, ate our fill of perfect fish and chips and did it all dressed in great menswear from White Stuff. Why not take a look at their range yourself. If you do decide to go ahead and get yourself something why not post a picture on social media and tag White Stuff and myself to get noticed.
