Summer Essentials With White Stuff

Craig of That Dapper Chap talks summer essentials, taking inspiration from the summer range from White Stuff

Great news guys, Summer is just around the corner! So, with that in mind what are you planning to be wearing when the warmer months are here? Don't fret, I'm here to help guide you along the way, and want to share a few summer essentials with you from White Stuff.

Some Cool Coloured Shorts

First up you'll need shorts! if you can't get your legs out during the summer when can you? Chino shorts are big news and are available in some great colours, so grab yourself a pair (or two)

These are the 'Warren' chino shorts. finishing just above the knee. They are versatile and can be dressed up with a shirt and a blazer. Alternatively  throw on a T-shirt for a more relaxed look.

Don't be afraid to play with the length either by rolling up the legs one or two turns. This can help change the look of the shorts dramatically, particularly if you're packing light but need switch things around.

Look Of The Week With Peter Werth

Craig of That Dapper Chap teams up with Peter Werth for their 'Look Of The Week' campaign and shows us what he's wearing from their latest range.

The last time I wrote about Peter Werth was to tell you about their SS16 collection and prior to that it was all about their 40th birthday bash, held at their fresh new Eastcastle Street store in London. A few months on and they're still going great guns and getting their AW16 collection ready.

In the meantime I've chosen a look from their SS16 collection for you as part of their #LookOfTheWeek campaign. Read on for the full details.

Nice Nashers? - The iWhite Teeth Whitening Kit

Craig of That Dapper Chap tries out the iWhite teeth whitening kit available from Mankind

We all want that super clean Hollywood smile. I know I do, but I am a bit scared of taking the plunge as I don't want to come out of the Orthodontist looking like a grinning shark.

When Mankind kindly sent me an iWhite teeth whitening kit, I read the instructions, did some Googling and thought "Why not, lets give it a go" If it goes horribly wrong I just gargle Espresso for a couple hours!

THE iWHITE KIT

The box is clean, simple and polite. It tries it's best to look somewhat remotely 'medical' but we all know that it's not. Nothing you can do at home on your own is comparable to the treatment that you will get from a specialist, so please bear that in mind when considering what results you should expect from an over the counter product.

Inside you'll find some neat looking trays that contain rubbery teeth guards filled with the active ingredient that claims to "whiten your teeth up to 8 shades whiter" Now I'm no expert but is a 'shade' a scientific measurement or is it one of those subjective things which is open for debate. Either way I'm up for 8 shades!

What I Wore Today - The H&M Airplane Print Shirt

Craig of That Dapper Chap styles up the H&M airplane print shirt in this 'What I Wore Today' blog post.

Today's look is all about this incredible vintage airplane print shirt from H&M. I'd seen it in stores a few times, and had been drawn to it but kept thinking it might be too much. I questioned how I'd style it and how it would look. So, on my last visit I took the plunge and left with it in my bag.

#WEARITWELL At The Timex Watch Event

Craig of That Dapper Chap attends the Timex party to view the latest collection from this American heritage brand

The new Timex Fairfield watch with interchangeable straps

It was a real honour to be invited to the Timex party a couple of weeks ago where I got the opportunity, not only to catch up with fellow bloggers, a cheerleader and a spaceman, but to also see the awesome new collections from this heritage brand.

I teamed up with talented photographer and friend Ian Clarke of PhotoByIan for the event. Ian has snapped me on many occasions for various fashion campaigns and he took the majority of the images for this post.

Yours truly snapped by Ian Clarke while Tweeting at the Timex event

Timex are a brand that have stood the test of time and have been providing us with great wrist watches since 1854. A few years on and I find myself on a London rooftop enjoying the latest collection and panoramic views London's iconic skyline. There may also have been a cocktail or two!

Peter Werth X Nutters of Savile Row

Your chance to own rare and one-off pieces from the collection

If you're a gentleman or a Lady of great taste (and I know that you are because you're reading this) you're going to want to know about the forthcoming Peter Werth event during which they will passing on some rare and one off pieces from their collaboration with Nutters of Savile Row.

Founded by the legendary Tommy Nutter in 1969, Nutters brought fashion to London's iconic Savile Row. With his rebellious approach to tailoring, he introduced rakish silhouettes and jaunty cocktail-lounge styles to London's elite, dressing everyone from The Beatles to The Rolling Stones, and from Sir Hardy Amies to Sir Elton John and Michael Jackson.

The fashion he initiated, was so new and contemporary that it was soon taken to the dancefloors of super cool nightspots in Mayfair, as the Northern soul movement rampaged through the club scene in the 1970's

The collection was originally shown in 2013 and was a show unlike any other scene at London Collections: Men before. Those same pieces can now be yours.
