Founded by Mr William Penhaligon in 1870, Penhaligons London have a long established heritage, so much so that they hold not, one but two Royal Warrants. So, if their fragrances are good enough to for the British Royal Family, they're certainly good enough for That Dapper Chap!

The two fragrances that I'm going to share with you today are the Alizarin Eau De Parfum and the
Oud De Nil Eau de Parfum. Two very different fragrances, they are both directly inspired by the history and atmosphere of one of the most mysterious lands in all the world: Egypt.

What I Wore Today - Italian Grace

Today's 'What I Wore Today' post is all about this premium Italian cotton shirt by I SARTI, available from Italian Grace. In a slim fit style the shirt is 100% cotton and is available in a variety os subtle colours and stripes.

As it's summer I chose a bright blue lightweight suit from Burton Menswear. This suit is last season but there are many similar slim fit suits available in their current range. 

Today's shoes are from Base London and are the blue suede business shoe worn with red and blue polkadot socks. To keep the red accents going I opted for a red and blue silk pocket square by Paul Hewitt and a red jasper bracelet by Parvenu London.

When I fell in love with and bought a pair of Bordo coloured apron front shoes from Base London, little did I know that I'd end up as their model for the SS17 collection!

With a case full of trousers I alighted the train in central London and made my way to their incredible showroom (above) While the main photography for the web site took place in another part of the building we did manage to take a few pictures in the showroom and I'm really glad that we did

Not an overly glamorous shoot (it's not like the movies) I had to do rapid changes of trousers, socks and of course shoes, trying out some different styles along the way.

Great denim from White Stuff, Part 2 - Gin

In part 1 of the White Stuff denim series I wore the Whisky jeans. Staying with the boozy theme White Stuff also offer us the 'Gin' jeans. Just like the Whiskey jeans they come in mid wash, rinse wash, but also in antique wash. The jeans I'm wearing today are the rinse wash. 

As it was such a beautiful day that we decided to shoot this post at our beach hut on the British coast.

Todays product review is all about these wonderful collar stiffners from Stiffies. Easy to use and incredibly handy, they take a stray collar and make it behave and stay put whatever you're doing.

PRODUCT

Stiffies was founded in 2013 to solve the issue of droopy collars. The idea started when its founders dress code changed at work. Ties were no longer needed, however they still had to look smart. After a couple of months they became increasingly frustrated as even with collar stiffeners their shirt collars drooped below their suit jacket and they felt they had lost their mojo.

So with this they came up with the idea of magnetic collar stiffeners, that when used with their super strong magnetic buttons allowed them to put their collar into any position they liked.
