One Blazer, Three Looks with Next - Look 2

Craig of That Dapper Chap shows us the second in this three part series where he creates three very different looks with one blazer.

Welcome back to the 'One Blazer, Three Looks' series where I'm showing you three completely different looks with just one blazer. For guys who travel a lot or those of us that only want to take a cabin bag on that city break, being able to create different looks with just a few select items is a necessity.

Using the grey Italian linen slim fit blazer from Next this is the second look in the series. Part one which gives you a smart office or formal look can be found HERE. So, going to the opposite end of the sartorial scale I've created a very relaxed look again using items from Next.co.uk

Starting from the ground up I've chosen a pair of white lace up pumps. the fact that they're laced makes them slightly smarter than a pair of canvass slip on shoes. Those I'd wear on the beach or by the pool and would certainly avoid teaming them with a blazer. You could have worn white socks with this look, but I've chosen to go sockless which is a trend continuing again this season.

Women like men in a plain white T and jeans. It's official, and scientifically proven. That last statement might be a lie, but I think if you ask most women they'd agree. It's unfussy and looks clean. Just make sure it fits well and isn't too baggy or so tight that you look ridiculous. It should gently hug your form, not constrict your breathing, and it also shouldn't look like you're wearing hand-me-downs from your big brother!

I've gone for a pair or ripp repair denim jeans for this look. It would work just as well with plain or faded jeans but I like the juxtaposition of the smart blazer and the less smart jeans. Ripped jeans are very on trend right now so don't be afraid to add a pair to your wardrobe.

Thanks for coming back for part two. Part three will be along shortly, where I've created look which falls in between this and the last look. I'd love to hear what you think of this look so please feel free to add a comment below.
